As a Software Developer, Tech Lead, you will lead the optimization and enhancement of our system architecture while driving innovation in our tech stack, specifically supporting our product, Cognition360. You’ll design scalable solutions, improve operational efficiency, and automate key processes. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll mentor engineers and shape the technical roadmap, ensuring our technology stays at the forefront of innovation.
Responsibilities.
- Lead the analysis and evaluation of the existing system architecture and workflows, identifying key areas for optimization and enhancement.
- Acquaint yourself with our current tech stack, including microservices, C# / .NET, React / Typescript, REST APIs, SQL, and Azure
- Gain in-depth insight into our challenges, business model, and product.
- Create software solutions through stakeholder collaboration, system analysis, and adherence to the development lifecycle.
- Develop and implement strategies to balance resources, improve system logging, and reduce operational noise.
- Proactively address ongoing Azure-related challenges, collaborating directly with Microsoft to ensure timely and effective resolution.
- Create a comprehensive roadmap for maintaining and improving the system’s scalability and performance in the medium to long term.
- Drive automation initiatives to streamline operations and enhance efficiency, minimizing the need for extensive system overhauls.
- Communicate progress, strategies, and key system changes to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Develop detailed process playbooks for routine system maintenance, troubleshooting, and non-automated tasks, empowering support staff with clear operational guidelines.
Qualifications.
- 5-7+ years of hands-on experience in SAAS application development.
- Possesses a curious mindset, a passion for continuous learning, and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Extensive experience as a .NET developer, with a deep understanding of Azure services and cloud infrastructure.
- Proficient in Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automated deployment processes.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proven ability to design and implement strategies for optimizing system performance and scalability.
- Demonstrated expertise with Azure Data Factories, SQL Server, and Elastic Pools, managing large-scale data processes and storage solutions.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives.
- Capable of working autonomously, driving projects to completion while keeping stakeholders informed of progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Up-to-date knowledge of secure coding practices, ensuring system security and compliance with industry standards.
- Proven ability to mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering growth and adherence to coding best practices.
