Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical role in designing, developing and supporting tools and infrastructure of our automation, visualization and data analytics infrastructure. You will participate in building data analytics solutions used to enhance observability of our cyber security products. As a member of the team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to architectural decisions, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful project outcomes.
Responsibilites:
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including product managers, and other engineers, to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable solutions using best practices and industry standards.
- Take ownership of end-to-end feature development, from design and implementation to testing and deployment.
- Write non-application code, such as infrastructure as code, metrics, monitoring, alarms, etc., to ensure reliability and maintainability.
- Participate in code reviews to provide constructive feedback and ensure code quality.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Participate in on-call rotations to support and debug customer-reported issues as well as internally created service incidents.
- Take time for learning and continuous improvement, building your skills and exploring interests beyond current work tasks.
Qualifications:
- At least four years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend development.
- Proficiency in one or more programming and scripting languages.
- Demonstrated expertise in complex application development, debugging, analysis, and optimization.
- Experience with data analytics and visualization tools (e.g. Splunk, ADX, etc.). Use of these tools to monitoring system quality and performance.
- Experience with development of Infrastructure as code, tools such as terraform or similar.
- Experience with large-scale, resilient microservice and event-driven architectures, REST APIs.
- At least two year of experience building scalable, performant applications in cloud native environments. AWS, Azure, GCP experience is highly desirable.
- Experience with automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Continuous learning mindset, with a passion for keeping up with industry trends and technologies.
