Description:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4+ years of experience with .NET Core or .NET Framework using C#.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent knowledge.
  • Experience with relational databases, preferably SQL Server.
  • Experience using modern DevOps practices with Git version control.
  • Self-motivated and team-oriented, with a willingness to work as part of a collaborative environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure while balancing multiple priorities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Expertise with front-end desktop technologies such as WinForms
  • Experience creating and modifying Web APIs
  • Experience in modern frontend development using React, React Native or similar
  • Experience in containerization using Docker
  • Experience leading major initiatives successfully
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
    Position Details: This position is based at our modern office building located in Wallenstein, Ontario, only a 15 minute drive out of Kitchener-Waterloo and works primarily Monday to Friday, 40 hour work week. Responsibilities:

  • Working within a small team, delivering new features, and solving existing problems
  • Working in a high impact manufacturing environment to deliver critical business applications
  • Maintain and enhance a variety of operational and customer facing web, mobile and desktop applications
  • Build and consume APIs for seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems
  • Refactoring legacy code
  • Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Ensure backend systems are secure, reliable, and optimized for performance
  • Write clean, efficient, and testable code following software development best practices.
