The Software Development Engineer will independently perform design, develop, modify, document, and deliver high‐quality programming that meets the specific business needs. This critical role will perform a variety of programming assignments requiring knowledge of established programming procedures and data processing methodologies. Maintain and modify Enterprise Business API Integrations, support the integration of new Business Applications, manage and improve the following: orchestration, automation, and supporting documentation. The Software Development Engineer will work with other team members to improve the performance of the Bluepeak IT platform.

Responsibilities:
- Work with a team on complex projects/tasks that may involve multiple systems interactions engaging multiple developers.
- Responsible for successfully designing and delivering quality development solutions on time and on budget.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for specific integrations.
- Responsible, as assigned, to find solutions and identify methods of integration into internal processes and systems with internal and external partners.
- Design and build integrations and software as assigned.
- Perform unit tests on code to validate functionality.
- Prepare necessary project documentation that describes policy, process, and risk.
- Provide updates and roadmaps on existing and future projects to internal and external partners.
- Provide accurate development effort estimates for new projects to project owners.
- Provide roadmaps for internal teams and management on projects and applications.
- Work with the team to define user experience in new and existing applications.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and friendly atmosphere.
- Foster a culture of safe behavior and environmental compliance at all times.
- Other related duties as assigned.
