Description:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a software engineer working on cIAM software
  • Experience with OAuth, SAML, OIDC, PKCE, JWTs or related security protocols
  • Experience with microservices development and deployment (RESTful services, GraphQL, Containerization, Docker, CI/CD, GitlabCI, OpenAPI, Kubernetes)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with ForgeRock, Ping
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Experience in a matrix organization managing multiple stakeholders
  • Front end development experience is a plus (VueJS, React, Angular)
  • Experience with any of the following programming languages/frameworks: Typescript, NodeJS, NestJS, Express, Fastify, Golang

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Customer Identity & Data Activation team is focused on enabling Boston Scientific customers with a secure, connected digital experience. This product enables customers to tailor their information and preferences as well as unlocks opportunities for advancing customer data readiness. The Customer Identity & Data Activation Tech Lead will be a point of contact for the development team who has insights across the technical stack. You will be responsible for collaborating with other developers, architects, and product owners to design, develop, deliver, document, and support the customer identity & access management (cIAM) solution, consent solution, and global customer profile solution.
Reporting to the Customer Identity & Personalization Program Manager, the Tech Lead is an expert in cIAM and can provide software development recommendations to fellow engineers to meet business needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Development of the cIAM platform.
  • Provide day-to-day development & support for existing technology.
  • Provide support during initial launches/rollouts of new technologies.
  • Collaborates with other engineers to brainstorm technical solutions.
  • Provides recommendations of [DB1] [BK2] optimal technical approaches.
  • Reviews code and identifies opportunities for improvement.
  • Delivers technical documentation including release notes, technical specifications, etc.
  • Ensures awareness and compliance with applicable standard operating procedures to meet, comply and champion all quality and regulatory commitments of Boston Scientific, especially HCP compliance guidance, data privacy and country regulations.
