THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Development Manager to lead our development team and drive the successful delivery of software projects. If you are passionate about technology, possess strong leadership skills, and have a proven track record in both hands-on development and team management, we want to hear from you!
Stratco develops and supports a range of customised software applications that are used throughout the business. Leading the custom applications software development team, you will guide, coach and collaborate with other Software Developers, and take responsibility for a selection of customer-facing and internal software platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a small team of software developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Oversee the full software development life cycle, from planning and design to implementation and maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, other technology teams, and the project management office to ensure successful project delivery.
- Balance leadership responsibilities with hands-on software development and quality assurance oversight.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements, and guide the team in adopting best practices and emerging technologies.
- Action and deliver Level 2 and Level 3 support and service requests in accordance with Service Level Agreements.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative environment that encourages open communication and idea-sharing.
