GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Phillips & Cohen Associates, Ltd., the global innovator in compassionate death care services with notable operations in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Spain, Germany, & Australia, is expanding its suite of end-of-life planning and aftercare services. As a result of this growth, the newly established Global Marketing Department now includes The Estate Registry, and its associated products. The Global Marketing Department is seeking a full-time remote Digital Marketing Coordinator, reporting to the Marketing Manager of Phillips & Cohen Associates, to operate the company’s Marketing Coordination and social media efforts; assisting with product expansion in the UK market. Product support includes Phillips & Cohen and all associated subsidiary companies.
Target markets will include direct consumers, financial creditors, estate & probate law firms, funeral homes, wealth advisories, tech firms, and other verticals identified through business planning. The Digital Marketing Coordinator will create and execute a strong social media presence through creative digital marketing strategies which inform, advertise, and attract public interest to the organization.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • A college degree is preferred but not required.
  • 2+ years’ experience in social media marketing, communications, and/or public relations is preferred.
  • Advanced computer and digital literacy. Experience with a social media scheduling tool is preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent proofreading abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of social media management, content management, creative writing, and advertising concepts.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and research proficiencies.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret competitor strategies and consumer behavior.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to develop strategies to resolve operational challenges.
  • A creative mind with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in digital marketing and basic graphic design skills.
  • Interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Project management experience.
  • Knowledge of common marketing tools and software.
  • This is a full-time remote position. General hours of operation may be 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm Monday through Friday*

Responsibilities:

  • Execute a results-driven social media strategy.
  • Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms.
  • Assist in creating and editing written, video, and photo content.
  • Maintain a unified brand voice across different social media channels.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and manage social media calendars for all brands.
  • Monitor social media channels via our social media platform, Sprout Social, for engagement activity. Monitor platforms and competitors to share industry trends.
  • Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments.
  • Review analytics and create reports on key metrics for all brands.
  • Assist in developing and managing social media marketing and influencer marketing strategy.
  • In conjunction with the appointed production resources, coordinate/liaise the production of all digital marketing content on various social media platforms, including, but not limited to, LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook, and Reddit.
  • Act as the first-line approver of any new social media marketing collateral created by any third-party production partner, ensuring adherence to brand standards, accuracy, and details, including the layout and visual components.
  • Develop materials for specific audiences or demographics.
  • Create and copy-edit various articles and thought leadership.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Provide feedback on new trends, potential competitive threats, and potential product enhancements to provide increased value to clients.
  • As required, maintain accurate and quality sales and partnership records and activity reports.
  • Participate in the annual budgeting process.
  • As required, attend events and produce live social media content.
  • Other relevant duties, as assigned
  • Flexibility to support UK/Australia colleagues as needed.
