To deliver on our vision, we are looking for a Software Engineer 2, Azure Linux with a passion for Linux Operating Systems (OS) development and working with hardware. Someone who is ready to learn and dive deep into new technical areas - who is sparked by curiosity, wanting to not just understand how systems work, but strive towards improving the system through increased performance, security hardening, reliability, and maintainability.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• OR equivalent experience.
• 2+ plus technical experience in Linux Operating Systems development (boot, kernel, drivers, networking, storage, etc)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Technical experience / background in Linux Operating Systems development (boot, kernel, drivers, networking, storage, etc)
• 1 year experience ARM64 debugging and development
• 2+ years of accelerated networking and storage experience
• 1 year experince with building and debugging AI infrastructure
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• OR Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• OR equivalent experience.
  Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 - $208,800 per year.
