Job description
We are seeking a Software Engineer with a strong background in Object Oriented
Programming and basic knowledge in machine learning and signal processing to join the Data
Science team at 3Brain’s Italian unit. The candidate will be part of our growing software team
and will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our software solutions. This position
requires coding and maintenance of our software suite.

Main responsibilities:

• Contribute to data architecture, develop, design, and maintain high-quality code in

various programming languages.

• Collaborate with the fellow Data Scientists to develop and design innovative strategies

and solutions related to the company’s lines of research and development using

advanced machine learning and signal processing techniques.

• Collaborate with fellow Data Scientists in the research from which can be develop

prototypes and proof of concepts of interest for the company.

• Collaborate with fellow software developers, engaging in continuous learning and skill

enhancement.

• Adhere to company standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements during the

development process.

• Coordinate efforts with other project teams to maintain product integrity.
• Document technical deliverables through use cases, design documents, and technical

specifications.

• Contribute to the development and/or review of test protocols, ensuring thorough testing

of applications before user distribution.

• Collaborate in developing and implementing solutions to address errors, enhance

software performance, and improve user experience.

Required Qualifications

• B.Sc./M.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar.
• 2 years of experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP), data structures and

algorithms.

• Basic knowledge in machine learning and signal processing.
• Collaborative problem-solving ability, action-oriented and results-focused.
• We use English to communicate in the office; therefore, comfort with the language is

essential.

Additional Qualifications

• Candidates with knowledge and experience in C#, C/C++ and .NET technologies are

strongly preferred.

• Knowledge or experience in Intel Integrated Performance Primitives (IPP), Intel Data

Analytics Library (oneDAL) and Math Kernel Library (oneMKL).
