A Software Engineer in FACETS (claim system for Ascension insurance) coupled with the knowledge of MS SQL server and SSRS Reports analyzes and implements a wide range of custom batches, reports and FACETS configuration change requests to help successful functioning of healthcare plans. This position requires working closely with the business and the analyst teams to gather and understand the business requirements. Communicates clearly with business, vendors and all stakeholders involved. Requires to research, analyze, design solutions from the business needs. Leads technical design meetings, as required. Works under minimal supervision of a technical architect in proposing the technical solution and developing specific programmes and reports to solve the business needs. Customizes trizetto facets batches to implement the requirements and troubleshoot the batch failures by analyzing the batch logs. Creates inbound/outbound processes to extract vendor files as per the specified file layouts. Develops custom batches and reports to present meaningful data and decision making. Leads the reports development activities. Helps onboarding, training of new team members, junior developers and assigns work and provides development support and feedback as required.
