Tasks
We are seeking an experienced Fullstack Software Engineer with a strong foundation in JavaScript and a minimum of 3 years of professional experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in both front-end and back-end development, with a particular focus on building scalable, responsive web applications. The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering and be either based in Berlin or willing to relocate.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working at in a fast paced startup.
- Experience with energy modelization
- Experience with manipulation of 2D and 3D objects
- Proficiency in using turf.js or similar librairies for integrating and analyzing geospatial data.
- Experience with server-side technologies like Node.js or similar.
- You speak German fluently

Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or a related field.
- Experience managing an entire project from end-to-end
- Strong expertise in modern JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript. Minimum 3 years working with Javascript is required.
- Experience with fullstack development, including front-end frameworks like Svelte/SvelteKit and back-end technologies.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
- Experience with Tailwind CSS for creating custom, responsive designs.
- Familiarity with Material Design 3 principles and implementation.
- Experience working with databases (SQL or NoSQL) and back-end frameworks.
- Knowledge of build tools like Vite to streamline development workflows.
- Strong experience with code quality tools such as ESLint and Prettier.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain fullstack web applications with a strong emphasis on JavaScript, utilizing both front-end (Svelte, SvelteKit) and back-end technologies.
- Manage the hosting, deployment, and scaling of web applications on Google Cloud, ensuring reliability, performance, and security.
- Design and implement back-end services and APIs to support front-end functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design software solutions, and implement high-quality code.
- Support the bubble.io (low-code) software engineers when custom code is needed
- Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces using modern front-end technologies, including Tailwind CSS and Material Design 3.
- Work with databases and server-side technologies to create robust, scalable backend systems.
- Integrate third-party APIs
- Perform geospatial analysis and data manipulation using turf.js for location-based services.
- Participate in code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing to maintain a high standard of code and collaboration within the team.
