JOB DESCRIPTION

(U) Responsibilities include

• the design and development of software using disciplined software development processes that adhere to industry standard and software best practices.
• Integration of applications as per written specifications.
• Translation of technical requirements and design documentation into application code and modules.
• Carrying out unit testing, ensuring the applications meet the needs of the customer.
• Performing maintenance on existing software products or making requested software enhancements.
• Maintaining bug lists and exercising control over software configurations.
• Documenting and securing approval for configuration change requests.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS

The position shall require

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Engineering, or a computer related degree field.
• At least 7 years of experience developing software applications for enterprise network systems.
• At least 4 years of experience with C# or C++.
• Working knowledge of Java, Microsoft Visual Studio, and demonstrable experience with a variety of scripting languages.
• At least 4 years of experience in the design of applications for mobile devices preferably using Android Studio.
• At least 4 years of experience in integrating data streams for digital data producing electronic devices into database software applications.
• At least 4 years of experience in creating web-based applications. At least 3 years of experience in creating User Interface Applications.
• At least 4 years of experience in the implementation and use of bug tracking and software configuration management tools.
