Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to expand our team within the Mainframe Software Division. Together with other team members you will be responsible for architecture, design and development of features for our Source Code Management Software used by many of the world’s largest companies. We are R&D team dedicated to bringing innovative solutions and new technologies into our existing products, in order to help our customers to improve their software development process and maintain their code in their preferred way, whether it is Mainframe, Git or other specific solution.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of tools that helps with the DevOps process for mainframe
• Work on proof of concepts and validate the new features with customers, reflect on feedback
• Expand on our quality gates, keep the code technically current, participate in our internal Innovation weeks and Hackathon events

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• 7+ years of experience as developer, preferably within mainframe environment
• Proven hands on expertise in one or more of the following languages - C, Golang, JavaScript
• Knowledge of Source Code Control Systems such as GitHub or Endevor
• Keen on learning new technologies and languages, follow on new trends and continuous innovation

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience in design and implementation of REST API Architecture
• Any of following mainframe-programming languages: Metal C, REXX, Assembler
• Understanding of Hybrid Cloud technologies (Containers, Dockers, Kubernetes, etc)
• Presenting achievements on conferences or trough blogs
