Job Description:
Broadcom’s Payment Security Division is looking for a Software Engineer to support Arcot, the leading 3D-Secure payment processing platform serving the world’s largest financial institutions and retailers in e-commerce.
The qualified individual will be based in Broadcom’s San Diego office and work closely with data scientists and engineers. The team is responsible for the analytic performance and improvements of Arcot to make digital purchases simpler, faster, and safer.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a closely related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience with Software development for real-time mission-critical production systems, Transactional financial data processing, Programming in python (including pandas, numpy, matplotlib, polars), shell scripting.
- Experience with Git, Hadoop/Spark, Kafka, relational databases, and dockers.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in servicing internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred:
- Graduate degree in the fields listed above
- Experience with C++ development.
- Experience with real-time fraud detection systems.

Compensation and Benefits
The annual base salary range for this position is $107,000 - $171,000.
This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
