Description:
Vortex-CoLab is a growing collaborative laboratory that brings together academia and industry partners in an innovation framework to drive technology transfer in cyber-physical systems and cybersecurity. We are embarking on a journey that brings together cutting-edge research and engineering to create world-class demonstrators and proofs of concepts to drive high levels of software and hardware assurance. To support this journey, we are actively seeking a Software Engineer to join our team.
WHO?
VORTEX-CoLab is looking for an exceptional Software Engineer with BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar and that gathers the following requirements:
- 4-6 years of professional experience in software development;
- Proficiency in modern C++ with a strong understanding of software development principles;
- Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) & Microservices Architecture (MSA)
- Experience in Agile methodologies, in particular scrum.
- Solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts;
- Experience with C# or Python is a plus;
- Familiarity with CI/CD systems and best practices;
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to be independent preferably with coaching experience;
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders;
- Experience with version control systems, specifically Git.
