What We Need
Corpay is currently looking to hire a Software Engineer who has a desire to learn and thrive on challenge. Working within Corpay IT Development team, ensuring that our Software delivers exemplary development solutions, whilst meeting both the client and audience objectives. Providing troubleshooting and methodical diagnostic skills to resolve issues restore service and ensure root causes are fixed. Working directly with business analysts and IT professionals, exercising sound judgment within defined best practices, engaging with the business with the highest levels of professionalism and integrity.
How We Work

As a Software Engineer you will work in a remote environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

• Company-issued equipment
• Formal, hands-on training

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

• Ensuring that a walk though has occurred for new and change documentation
• Ensuring that no Priority 1 incidents occur due to code insertion/alteration.
• Identifying efficient gains in a given area paths and then adding this to the proposed list of changes.
• Communicating issues or risk to the a Senior Software Engineer
• You will develop source code in C#, .NET and Object Orientated Design.
• Working on a daily basis with SQL Server, Relational Database Management Systems Design.
• Operating with an awareness of the impact that the work of a Software Engineer may have on-going projects for a particular client, ensuring that suitable communication/updates are sent to relevant stakeholders
• Operating with a high attention to detail and quality in development and testing practices.
• Undertaking debugging and troubleshooting software-related issues in a timely manner.
• Developing a keen knowledge and understanding of the GFN system, to enhance it’s capability.
• Producing BAU or support coding changes as required, for example to resolve non-project defects, improve service by utilising both strong analytical and development skills

Qualifications & Skills

• C#
