THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer - Development Operations to support a world class airborne surveillance, communications and battle management system, the AEW&C Wedgetail E-7 International Program. The role is based in Brisbane, Queensland.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior experience in the IT industry where you gained system admin skills and have worked with various software development and configuration management tools, such as:Window and Linux experience, including virtualisation and networking knowledge is an advantage
• Gitlab,
• Devops Security Scanning tools.
• Exposure to Scrum - agile project management framework would be beneficial
• Knowledge the Australian Information Security Manual (ISM), Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF) and the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) is a bonus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements
