Description:

Our client is looking for a Software Engineer to work for a large organisation in the Sydney CBD and Work from home.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Experience developing in JCL, COBOL, & PL1
- Experience in technical leadership and software engineering
- Experience in preparation and review of technical design documentation
- Experience reviewing of code
- Experience in designing batch coding and online programs
- Experience supporting testing and development activities
- Experience supporting release management activities
- Experience in business practices and end-to-end functional flow of the clients banking payment system including accounting, debit, and credit card transactions
- Project experience in SDLC methodologies and Agile concepts
- Experience creating batch jobs and tools for automation process
- Experience in software and tools including Remedy, ServiceNow, Confluence and JIRA
