  • Investigate and compare technologies with respect to their support, maintainability and cost.
  • Oversee the creation, deployment, and management of Docker containers and Docker Compose configurations.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and foster best practices to enhance team capabilities and code quality.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on C#, Go, or some object-oriented language.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in C# .NET or Go for microservices development and optimization.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and practices.

  • Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases for database management and integration.
  • Proven experience managing containerized applications at scale with Kubernetes.
  • Advanced knowledge of Docker and Docker Compose for containerization and orchestration.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior engineers, driving the adoption of best practices.
  • Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex issues in simple ways.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure and AWS.

  • Experience with AI related technologies such as LLMs, vector databases, RAG, LangChain, document processing, Python.
  • Experience with additional messaging technologies or service mesh solutions.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Helm charts, and Kustomize.
