TEAM DESCRIPTION:
Kitware’s Medical Computing team tackles complex healthcare challenges by developing cutting-edge software solutions tailored to the medical and biomedical sectors. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a related field emphasizing data science.
- Experience working with healthcare data (e.g., EHR, imaging, or clinical trial data).
- Outstanding skills in Python.
- Hands-on experience with data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques.
- Mastery-level knowledge of Python data visualization and analysis libraries (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, SciPy, scikit-learn, or Pandas).
- Strong understanding of data management and processing, particularly with large datasets.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Due to contractual restrictions, only US Citizens will be considered for this position.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with Kitware’s open-source platforms such as VTK, ITK, or 3D Slicer.
- Experience with cloud application development.
- Knowledge of healthcare standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA, HL7, DICOM).
- Familiarity with cloud computing and deploying healthcare applications on cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and their application in healthcare.
