We’re looking for a talented Software Engineer (React, TypeScript) to join our team! Your job will be to help us build, develop, and support the Skylab platform used to create back-office panels at G2A. We’re not reinventing the wheel here; Skylab is built on the foundation of market standards and open-source software. We mainly code in TypeScript, our frontend is created using Next.js and React, and we use Node.js for backend.
In your new role you will design, build, and test your own solutions based on the Kubernetes platform. Your recipients will be other developer teams – you will work directly with thee Product Owner, which means you won’t have to deal with your typical business stakeholders.

YOU’RE A PERFECT MATCH FOR THE ROLE IF:

• You have at least three years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
• You know React.js and Next.js perfectly well
• You have good knowledge of Node.js
• You have practical experience in creating efficient and scalable APIs
• You have practical knowledge of the Git version control system
• You known the best practices in designing software
• You have excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Your English is at least on the B2 level, both spoken and written
• You can manage priorities and multitask while achieving design goals efficiently

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participating in the development of the Skylab platform to standardize creating and hosting back-office applications and make this process easier
• Making decisions regarding the choice of technological solutions
• Designing and delivering programming solutions compliant with business requirements and current quality standards
• Writing Node.js and TypeScript microservices
• Ensuring high quality of the code and high performance of the apps
• Creating solutions increasing the availability of the platform
• Creating tools to improve developer experience
• Developing platform monitoring
• Monitoring trends in the IT industry and introducing new tools and technologies to improve the efficiency of your team
