Role Overview
As a Software Engineer focusing on Hardware-Integrated Systems, you will be instrumental in creating and optimizing infrastructure solutions that facilitate robust algorithm development and deployment for hardware applications. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct code reviews, maintaining high-quality code standards to ensure efficient and maintainable software.
  • Perform thorough performance testing, monitoring, and benchmarking to continuously optimize systems for reliability in hardware settings.
  • Implement and manage database and cloud APIs to streamline data access, integration, and utilization for hardware-software interactions.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure performance, collaborating with cross-functional teams to extract insights from development and production datasets.
  • Analyze data to deliver actionable insights that improve the performance and capabilities of hardware systems.
  • Design systems for performance testing and monitoring to ensure ongoing enhancements in hardware integrations.
  • Foster continuous improvement initiatives that emphasize scalable infrastructure solutions within an innovative team culture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; advanced degrees are preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate experience in the U.S. as a Software Engineer with a strong focus on software for hardware products (e.g., robotics, IoT, medical devices).
  • Basic knowledge of signal processing, including frequency domain analysis and Fourier transforms.
  • Proficiency in Python, with a solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
  • Experience with data analytics and handling large datasets specifically related to hardware applications.
  • Familiarity with data visualization and analysis tools relevant to hardware products.
  • Hands-on experience building or integrating database and cloud APIs for hardware systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication abilities for effective collaboration within diverse teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in C++ and C, particularly in the context of hardware development.
  • Experience with machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow or PyTorch, especially for hardware-oriented algorithm development.
  • Familiarity with machine learning techniques for data analysis and algorithm development in hardware contexts.
  • Expertise in 3D tracking systems, including optical and electromagnetic systems.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
