We are seeking a Data Engineer for the Global Investigations Payments Platform. In this role you will be responsible for developing and delivering complex solutions to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, coding solutions, unit testing, and ensuring the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces. Job expectations include an awareness of development and testing practices in the industry.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 7-10 years’ experience as a technology data analyst
- 5-7 years’ experience Oracle (Oracle 12g or higher)

Responsibilities:
- Performs analysis of the data requirements, objectives, and needs of the general business environment for our line of business
- Understanding of payment flows among applications, operations groups, and resulting accounting in multiple regions
- Performs research and analysis to support business operations
- Translates data requirements into Epics, stories and tasks in Jira
- Works with peer development and testing teams to deliver solutions
- Understands business processes and make recommendations and changes in order to improve and support business systems and activities and/or to deliver greater effectiveness and efficiency
- Utilizes systems and data to resolve business issues in the most effective and productive manner
- Identifies and implements best practices and suggests how to improve current practices
