Description:
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
- Experience with full-stack development and data intensive application
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience coding using general purpose programming language (eg. GoLang, Java, Python, C#, C/C++)
- Experience with single page application framework like React, strong knowledge of JavaScript and web fundamentals
- 3+ years of software development experience
- Experience working on large scale distributed systems
- Experience in advertising and marketing domains
- Experience running experiments and supporting decisions with dataExperience leading cross functional teams solving ambiguous problem
Responsibilities:
Ads is one of the fastest growing lines of businesses at Uber. Every day thousands of advertisers use our Advertising platform to reach users on the Uber platform to help grow their businesses. The Advertiser Management team builds applications to help advertisers express their goals and improve their return from advertising investments.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and improve web services used by advertisers to run campaigns in Uber Ads Manager
- Work with Product, Design, Data Science, and other Engineers to generate and execute on product ideas
- Participate in code reviews and improve software engineering practices across the team

For Canada-based roles: The base salary range for this role is CAD$126,000 per year - CAD$140,000 per year. For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$158,000 per year - USD$175,500 per year. For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$158,000 per year - USD$175,500 per year. For Seattle, WA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$158,000 per year - USD$175,500 per year. For Sunnyvale, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$158,000 per year - USD$175,500 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber’s bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
