- Basic Qualifications -

• BS in Computer Science or related field
• 2+ years front-end web development experience
• Experience with Web UI development in Javascript
• Strong problem solving and coding skill

• Demonstrated experience of shipping high-quality product features on schedule
• Experience implementing complex projects with multiple dependencies
• Experience of cutting edge web technologies (HTML5, CSS, Javascript, TypeScript), Application Servers, Web Applications
• Experience in Javascript and experience developing UI with JavaScript development frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, Vue, Bootstrap, etc)
• Experience with Node.js, React-Query, GraphQL, or other server-side Javascript technologies and tools
• Familiarity with principles of good user experienc

As a Front-End Software Engineer in the Customer Obsession org, you will architect highly-performant and reliable web applications used by hundreds of thousands of customers every day. We not only build best-in-class support experiences for end customers (riders, drivers, couriers, eaters, merchants, freight carriers, etc), we also work closely with our internal stakeholders across all lines of businesses to build the tools and features that power the Web Help Center.

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$158,000 per year - USD$175,500 per year. For Sunnyvale, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$158,000 per year - USD$175,500 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber’s bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
