Description:

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering preferred or equivalent years’ experience.
Experience: 4-9 years’ experience

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Requires intermediate-level proficiency of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design
  • Requires skills in complete software development lifecycle.
  • Requires extensive experience in an Object-Oriented Language (C#, TypeScript, Kotlin or equivalent).
  • Requires intermediate-level proficiency with the Unity Game Engine.
  • General knowledge of hardware design, testing, and debugging.
  • Requires oral and written communication skills.
  • Requires ability to express ideas clearly and logically.
  • Requires good interpersonal skills, including ability to adapt and work effectively in a variety of configurations – independently, as a member of a team, and in a matrix reporting environment.
  • Requires ability to prioritize tasks and show personal initiative.
  • Requires ability to work as a team member.
  • Requires planning and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Support, through software design and development, DI’s mission of empowering people with innovative XR technology.

ACCOUNTABLE TO:

  • Capable of leading projects with guidance.
  • Capable of designing systems with guidance.
  • Participates in the proposal process with guidance, focusing on writing technical sections.
  • Perform analysis, design, programming, testing, debugging, and modifications of computer programs and hardware devices for complex software products.
  • Aid in software development, feature specification, and design.
  • Translate user needs into detailed design specifications; provide prototype and end-user applications and enhancement based on specifications.
  • Provide detailed, reusable software documentation.
  • Provide responsive, accurate, and friendly technical support to internal and external clients.
  • Participate in project meetings.
  • Other Responsibilities:
  • Promote products and services at various customer locations and functions.
  • Perform or assist with any additional assignments as required.
