Software Engineer in Test I
Overview
The Decision Management Program delivers industry leading intelligence at global scale as it is deeply embedded in the Mastercard network. The award winning, patent protected platform was engineered to rapidly build innovative products and currently powers over 20 different products. These products protect our customers from fraud, impede crimes such as human trafficking and terrorism, provide customers control over their spend, protect Mastercard from financial risk, and earn significant revenue.

Processing over 1.2 billion transactions per day at ~50 msec each (~65k tps), the technical capabilities include processing multiple AI models in parallel with 13 different AI technologies, self-service business rule capability, and the world’s largest Gemfire In Memory Data Grid at 40 TB.

  • Follow best practices around quality, functional testing, exploratory testing, test automation, quality gating reviews for promotion of software and enable continuous integration
  • Opportunities to develop and implement QA standards, simplify processes, build tools and apply test methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Works closely with software engineers to build quality by ensuring proper automation tests, configuration quality, and logging
  • Enhance our existing software development processes
  • Translates complex system requirements and specs into test requirements and testing methods
  • Participates in feature/story elaboration, Identify and implements complex automation efforts
  • Replicates and resolves production issues
  • Deliver cost effective technology solutions which align to standards, achieve business requirements, and are easy to maintain and operate.

All about you

  • Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent work experience
  • Experience in Unit, Functional and Integration testing.
  • Exposure in building or using automation frameworks JAVA based
  • Test automation
  • Some experience with microservices, Event Driven Applications, and Databases
  • Exposure to agile methodology and systems test lifecycle
  • Languages JAVA, SQL, Python
