SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • At least 5 years of experience in software development
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, React, HTML, CSS, and relevant frameworks
  • Experience with React Native for mobile application development
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
  • Experience with Shopify Polaris and Shopify app development
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and techniques to optimize website performance
  • Experience with A/B testing tools and conversion rate optimization
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics and Google Search Console for data tracking and reporting
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
  • Familiarity with AWS, DigitalOcean, or other cloud platforms
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Lincraft is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our growing IT team in Laverton, Melbourne. This is a full-time, permanent position where you will play a crucial role in enhancing our digital platforms, including our eCommerce website and internal applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, experience in front-end and back-end development, and a passion for data-driven decision-making.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, test, and deploy scalable software solutions for Lincraft’s eCommerce platform and internal systems
  • Maintain and optimize existing applications to improve performance and reliability
  • Implement React Native for mobile application development
  • Utilize Shopify Polaris to create custom Shopify apps and themes
  • Perform A/B testing and analyze results to improve customer experiences and conversion rates
  • Conduct SEO optimization to enhance site performance and search rankings
  • Integrate and analyse data from Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other data sources to drive insights
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to implement data analytics strategies
  • Write clean, maintainable code following best practices
  • Troubleshoot software-related issues and deliver timely solutions
  • Create and maintain technical documentation
