The Life Back Book Conversion team is on a mission to seamlessly migrate legacy Life & Annuity policies to our modernized Life platform. Our team is not just about coding; we believe in fostering a culture of open communication and continuous improvement, where every voice is valued.
As a Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the continuous design, development, and testing of the migration process to ensure a seamless transition for our end users. You will join a team of talented engineers, in a collaborative environment while ensuring high-quality code and best practices. Your expertise in COBOL, JCL, and DB2 will be critical to drive the migration process forward and maintain the highest standards of quality.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on COBOL.
- Familiarity with JCL, CICS, and DB2.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong adaptability in mastering and applying new ideas.
- Ability to learn new tools and software languages.
