Description:
WHAT EXPERIENCE DO I NEED?
- A degree in Computer Science or Aeronautical, Mechanical, Software Engineering or similar
- A background or experience in data science, aerodynamics, vehicle dynamics or computer simulations
- Knowledge of developing graphical tools using MATLAB, Python, Julia or similar
- Some experience of developing backend APIs, ideally with .NET Core
- Good experience of database technologies such as SQL Server, MySQL, and NoSQL
- Any exposure to modern web technologies such as React would be advantageous
Responsibilities:
The Software Engineer will work closely with Design Engineers, Mechanical Engineers and Data Scientists, to gather and understand the requirements necessary to ultimately design, develop and maintain a suite of data analysis tools, to facilitate the analysis of data from wind tunnel, CFD and simulation environments.
