    Job Description
    Our Customer is a leading force in the renewable energy sector, dedicated to powering homes and businesses with 100% clean energy. Through cutting-edge technology, we manage renewable resources like wind and solar, utilizing innovative data solutions to ensure energy availability when demand peaks.
    We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to contribute to a major trading platform project designed to enhance market exchange activity and order routing efficiency. This project aims to digitalize the life cycle of derivative deals across a global trading network, requiring a skilled developer to work closely with a high-performing team.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Languages: Strong C++ expertise, with a working knowledge of C# and Python.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in software development, preferably in robust, enterprise-grade software systems.
  • Proven experience translating business needs into functional code, with a track record of delivering and documenting progress.
  • Experience with peer code reviews to maintain code quality and team standards.
  • This role requires on-site presence 3 days a week in the London office

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance platform components, including order placement, routing, and exchange connectivity.
  • Implement pricing functions and integrate with internal systems to support seamless trading operations.
  • Engage in the full software development lifecycle, from design to deployment, including integration with third-party systems.
  • Collaborate on multi-process, event-driven systems using C++ as the primary language, with some Python and C#.
