SUMMARY:

Seeking a skilled software engineer with at least 5 years of experience to join our production team. Our team is highly productive, and we are looking for someone who can think creatively in developing our systems used by Qorvo production and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will thrive in a development environment where both functionality and stability are important.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant engineering discipline
  • 5+ years of software development experience
  • Strong experience developing with C/C++ and Python
  • Strong experience in Object Oriented concepts
  • Experience with C#/.NET programming
  • Understanding of multi-threaded programming and associated constructs
  • Experience with developer tools such as GIT, GITLab and TFS
  • Software testing and deployment methodology using CICD
  • Experience programming on Centos, Red Hat and Ubuntu environments
  • Working knowledge of Linux command lie
  • Comfortable in a highly collaborative environment, able to discuss tactical problems with a team of equally qualified peers while working towards the common goal of the best solution possible
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work onsite at Qorvo location
  • Data relationships and database concepts.
  • Experience with SQL, SQLite and Mongo database technologies
  • UPD/TCP/IP Socket programming
  • GPIB programming experience is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain our C/C++ based production IPC communication framework.
  • Extend functionality to our production station configuration management system using SaltStack framework.
  • Refinement of existing applications to help improve working efficiency by considering software implementation, user interaction, and overall design of the application
  • Develop and maintain software tools for use in a desktop MS Windows environment leveraging .NET and SQL database technologies
