Riverside Overview: Riverside Research is an independent National Security Nonprofit dedicated to research and development in the national interest. We provide high-end technical services, research and development, and prototype solutions to some of the country’s most challenging technical problems. All Riverside Research opportunities require U.S. Citizenship. Position Overview:
Riverside Research’s Intelligence and Defense Solutions Directorate (IDS) has a full-time opening in the Fairborn, Ohio area for a mid-level software developer. The candidate will be responsible for working with team members to research, develop and build a prototype software application. This prototype system will be used to develop, test and evaluate government and open standards for the exchange of sensor data, metadata and reporting disseminating in the cloud/enterprise. The prototype will have a user interface using open standards to perform actions related to distributed production, exploitation, and dissemination (PED) and reporting on Measurement & Signature Intelligence (MASINT) sensor data.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop microservices to support standards based system architecture and sensor data
  • Support UX/UI design and development using Angular, React, Vue or other UI framework
  • Learn and understand Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) SWE and Open APIs for the Web
  • Write well-designed, well-documented, testable, and efficient code
  • Communicate progress and identify blocking issues
  • Travel to Government site for delivery and collaboration as needed
  • Integrate with and promote community standards
  • Develop collaborative relationship with Government customer and other mission partners
  • Other duties as assigne
