REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation:

• designing and developing software products using Dot Net Technologies;
• performing object-oriented design, modular system and component development; participating in solution prototyping, development and execution; working with OWASP and secure coding techniques;
• utilizing SQL experience including writing/optimizing stored procedures within DB2 and Oracle; implementing RESTful APIs, Web services, and Windows services;
• working with languages including JSON, WSDLs, XML/XSD, SOAP, LINQ, and multi-threading;
• managing end-to-end project activities including requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, UAT and production support;
• working with Source control, change tracking, version control tools;
• working with Nuget libraries and CI/CD pipeline;
• working in an agile software development environment using SAFe; and working in payments domain.

The Software Engineer Senior will identify client purchasing requirements and technical specifications through product management and/or client representatives. Interact with engineering groups to assist in design changes to equipment and/or software. Additionally, the role will:

• Train and communicate with clients on systems application.
• Analyze, design, program, debug and modify software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked or internet related computer programs.
• Interact with product managers and/or users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.
• Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements.
• Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.
• Write code, complete programming, and perform testing and debugging of applications using current programming languages and technologies.
• Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
• Train and communicate with internal client training, client relationship and sales teams on systems application.
• Responsible for developing and executing project plans, budgets, and schedules and for documenting work and results.
• Deliver informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business groups to internal and/or external audiences, and perform other related duties assigned as needed.
