Do you have a track record of delivering high-quality projects and leading cross-functional teams to success?
We’re looking for an exceptional Lead Software Engineer to join our R&D department in Berlin and lead the development of cutting-edge 3D software used to produce clear aligners.
As a lead, you will play a crucial role in guiding our software development teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet our customers’ needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA, to ensure successful project delivery. Your technical expertise and leadership skills will help identify bottlenecks and dependencies, and develop strategies to overcome them.
In this exciting position, you will play a key role in developing cutting-edge 3D software used to produce clear aligners. This software is the foundation of our orthodontic treatment planning that helps our customers achieve beautiful, confident smiles.

REQUIREMENTS

• Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
• Strong understanding of 3D geometry (vectors, matrices, intersections, etc.)
• Development experience in statically typed and object-oriented languages
• Familiarity with agile software development methodologies and related frameworks (Git, Jira, etc.)
• Ability to work flexibly, proactively, and creatively within a team
• Proven experience in leading software development teams and delivering projects on time and within budget
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Experience with code reviews, stand-ups, Kanban, and 1-on-1s
• Ability to grow and develop the skills of team members
• Proficient in written and spoken English, including technical writing and presentations
