The Phia Group provides, amongst other things, claim recovery services for health benefit plans. When a health benefit plan pays medical bills, and we later discover someone else should have paid those medical bills, The Phia Group – on behalf of the health plan – will seek to recover the funds. The Case Investigator plays an important role in this effort, by determining whether another proper payer exists, and obtaining the details needed to pursue fund reimbursement.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field plus 2 years of experience with Software development, software engineering, or related field
• Requires experience with the following: Developing Enterprise Applications and Distributed Application with front end code using Adobe ColdFusion, AngularJS, and back-end code using Java, J2ee, Spring, and Hibernate technologies
• Tableau reporting tool and data analytics concepts
• Cross-browser testing and debugging
• JavaScript libraries: jQuery and writing stored procedures, functions, and triggers. CSS, HTML, and Javascript programming languages
• SQL (MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle).

WORKING CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Sitting at workstation for prolong periods of time. Extensive computer work. Workstation may be exposed to overhead fluorescent lighting and air conditioning. Fast paced work environment. Operates office equipment including personal computer, copiers, and fax machines.

• Create, modify and maintain database structures such as tables, views, stored procedures, functions and triggers
• Trouble shoot client issues with respect to Salesforce.com, PDM, CMS, TPS and OP application and ensure high priority issues are resolved according to our client service level agreements
• Use technologies such as: Salesforce.com, Adobe ColdFusion, AngularJS, Hibernate, and Git, to perform routine code updates and troubleshoot errors within the system
• Troubleshoot and provide corrective solutions for identified database related issues using either Microsoft SQL, SOQL or Oracle SQL database language or related tools
