Description:

The TEM Automation teams in Brno are developing automated calibrations, alignments and image processing software for Transmission Electron Microscopes (TEM). Our innovative solutions boosts efficiency in semiconductor labs as well as in our manufacture by automatically calibrating microscope to safe unnecessary human work! We are primarily developing in Python on Windows platform.

What will you be working on

  • Design and implement algorithms for automated calibration procedures to support factory and service workflow during building of TEM, including automated tests
  • Development of necessary tooling to support SW teams
  • Collaboration with SW engineers, physicist, system engineers, factory representatives, application specialists from Brno facility as well as from Netherlands

What technologies are we using

  • Development is in Python 3.10 (running in Anaconda environment) and C++, code is written in PyCharm and MS Visual Studio
  • Source code is stored in our on-premises GitLab, builds are performed in Jenkins and our backlog is in Jira
  • To ensure quality, code must by checked via pylint, flake and mypy and reviewed by a senior colleague

Who are we looking for

  • Graduate of Masters ideally in Information Technology
  • Deep knowledge of Python and good knowledge of C++
  • Solid communication in English

Extra skills and knowledge we appropriate

  • Experience with PyQt, Matplotlib, pytest
  • Knowledge of gRPC, C#, MATLAB
  • Curiosity about physics and electron microscopy
