Description:

TMC, a LinQuest company is seeking a Software Engineer to join our team onsite in Colorado Springs, CO. An active SECRET security clearance with eligibility to receive a Top Secret (TS) and have SCI eligibility is required
The Software Engineer designs, develops, and deploys software solutions. Support the software development team.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years relative experience as Software Programmer/Developer/Enginee
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related Engineering or Technical field
  • An active SECRET security clearance with eligibility to receive a Top Secret (TS) and have SCI eligibility
  • Languages:
  • Angular
  • Javascript, Typescript, Python, Bash
  • C#, C++, Java or similar language
  • SQL, SQl Server
  • Platform Libraries/Frameworks:
  • net core
  • NodeJS, React, Vue.JS
  • EFK Stack (Elasticsearch, FluentD and Kabana)
  • Docker and Kubernetes
  • PyTest, Mocha, Jest, MsTest, nUnit and nSubstitute

Responsibilities:

  • Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.
  • Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
  • Produce and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
  • Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
  • Improve operations by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes in policies and procedures.
  • Protect operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Make informed decisions quickly and taking ownership of services and applications at scale
  • Collaborate with Product Scrum Teams to:
  • Understand functional requirements and deliver high quality working software throughout sprints, demos, releases and the full software development life cycle.
  • Participate in scrum ceremonies including story mapping, backlog refinement, sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Demonstrate work in sprint demo and customer demos for feedback.
  • Effectively communicate technical information in a clear and concise manner.
