Venue Kings is a growing online ticket brokerage based in North Vancouver, BC. We focus on providing excellent customer service while expanding our presence in the ticketing industry.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We’re seeking a Software Engineer to develop and maintain our Python, PHP, C#, and Node.js systems using AWS and cloud technologies. The role involves business process automation, including AI implementation and creating solutions for systems without API connectivity. You’ll work on multiple server based solutions and have opportunities to lead projects using Agile methodologies. We’ll be prioritizing people who can also show us they have some interesting personal/hobby projects under their belt on Github or another version control site. Also people who have experience using the latest AI tools to help speed up the development process.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 1 year software engineering experience
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Experience with HTTP requests, cookie and session management
• Proficiency in Python and SQL databases

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Angular, JavaScript, C# .NET Framework
• PHP, Umbraco, AWS, Django
• Laravel, Node.js
• Selenium WebDriver, Tamper Data
• ChatGPT/Claude APIs
