POSITION SUMMARY:

Bold Orange is seeking a Software Engineer with a passion for developing technical solutions utilizing the entire stack of technologies including front-end, integration, back-end, database, devOpps, and microservices architecture. This person will design and execute data acquisition, process automation, and support analytics & insights data service capabilities while also enhancing Bold Orange’s product web-based SaaS platform.
The ideal candidate will blend software development experience with an engineering mindset to enable front-end experiences, support web development projects and help create technical connections across customer experiences. Logical, organized, pragmatic, and methodical to their core. To be successful they will collaborate closely with technology services, analytics, our agile delivery practice, and other cross-functional partners to accelerate technology solution development.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• 3+ years of professional experience in full stack engineering, data management, data development, software development or related field
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related discipline
• Demonstrated expertise/applied knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, HTML5, IIS, Ajax, Bootstrap, SQL Server / T-SQL, DevOps, Azure
• Experience using cloud providers and cloud native applications within Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud
• Demonstrated expertise/applied knowledge of C#, Python, and PowerShell
• Experience consuming and developing REST API’s and related software interfaces
• Demonstrated experience with back-end web development, data architecture, structured and unstructured data management, and data transformation
• Experience with Visual Studio, C#, PHP scripting, general development patterns, and related frameworks
• Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment where the nature of the work can be variable
• Innately curious and happy to dig in whenever called upon

• Design, develop, and execute technical solutions to automate data processes and increase the efficiency of analytic deliverables, create engaging front-end customer experiences with modern JavaScript frameworks, create and maintain microservices architectures, and participate in agile DevOps delivery.
• Articulate requirements and present solutions to less-technical stakeholders
• Maintain knowledge of technical changes impacting technology solutions, new technologies and tools, privacy practices, and relevant tools
• Work across other front-end web developers to create and support back-end web solutions
• Develop, maintain, and deploy new and existing REST API’s
• Continuously inform business partners of work in process and potential roadblocks to timelines
