Responsibilities:

POSITION ROLE TYPE:

Collins Aerospace is currently seeking qualified candidates for entry-level Co-ops in our Military Avionics & Helicopters Flight Management & Controls department located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Teams are composed of cross-functional engineers working in an AGILE environment (approximately 6-10 people) focused on the design and development of software-only products. Team culture is extremely collaborative and engaged; we value our customer, our products, and our people (that means you). If you want to have fun, do something meaningful, and work with an amazing group of people, this is for you. You will have the opportunity to develop real code used in real aircraft!
Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session that will run from June-December 2025 (this includes the Fall semester; it is expected that students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity).

PRODUCTS SUPPORTED WITH THIS ROLE INCLUDE:

FACE (Future Airborne Capability Environment) - Our software as a product used to support not only navigation, flight planning, and guidance with our MFMS-1000 solution, but also hazard avoidance in real time as part of our Avoidance Re-Router (ARR-7000), which are being deployed on a variety of emerging platforms and next generation pursuits.
