Clear-Com Engineering Team is currently seeking a Software Engineering Intern to contribute to the design, development, analysis, and testing of intercom products as part of an Agile development team. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who demonstrates strong interest in networking technologies, and development on embedded operating systems on Linux, Windows, MacOS, iOS, and Android. This 12-week Internship starting in Summer 2025, July - September, offers a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing team of talented engineers that works in an Agile way to develop state-of-the-art intercom systems. This role will be based in our Cambridge Engineering office located in the Cambridge Research Park.
In this position you will:
- Design and develop new features mainly in C, C++, Electron, Javascript or NodeJs for professional intercom products
- Use Agile and lean methodologies in a scrum team with a dedicated mentor
- Write and validate unit and integration tests
Collaborate on code reviews and update functional specifications

- Appetite to learn new products and tools.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under deadlines.
- Familiar with programming languages such as C, C++, Javascript, Typescript, Electron.
Ability to use multiple operating systems (Linux, Mac OS X, Windows).
Nice to haves:
Experience in REST APIs.
Scripting knowledge (Bash and Python).
