ROLE DESCRIPTION

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Software Engineering Manager at Experlogix in South Jordan, UT, with flexibility on in-office days. The Software Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading software development teams, designing software systems, managing projects, and overseeing distributed systems. We’re seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our specialized team through the full project lifecycle, from concept to implementation.
In this role, you will also work with a team of QA professionals to ensure that our software products are suitable for launch. You will utilize test automation, so you should have some experience using tools like Selenium and programming languages like Java and SQL. You are responsible for both acceptance testing and QA testing, so you should have a background with both

MANAGER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Directs the work of engineers to ensure the best practices around software development.
• Establishes policies and procedures that produce high-quality software product and service.
• Delegate testing tasks to your team
• Oversee all testing operations
• Automate as much of the QA and testing process as possible
