MuleSoft, a Salesforce Company, sits at the heart of all convergent technologies trends (SaaS, big data, APIs, microservices, etc.), and our developers are tackling some of the most challenging problems in technology today.
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join the API Catalog team.
We are bringing all the knowledge that we have about APIs from many years of experience working with APIs in Anypoint Platform to Salesforce.
As an engineer in the API Catalog team, you will be solving complex challenges and looking for new ways to add value to our product. You will collaborate with a team of 8 engineers in order to work on new functionalities that require full stack knowledge. You will have the opportunity to contribute not only in back-end services, but also all the way up to front-end UI components and styling specifics.

Your impact:

• Design, implement, test and deliver highly scalable products.
• Innovate applying new technologies and tools to achieve the desired functionality and solve complex problems.
• Operate effectively in a Test Driven Development model by designing test strategies, automation frameworks, writing unit/functional tests to drive up code coverage and automation metrics.
• Master our development process, culture and code base, then improve it.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Great engineering skills and solid development experience (patterns, best practices).
• +1 years of relevant experience in a Software Engineering role.
• Expertise in UI technologies such as React and TypeScript.
• Natural curiosity, ability, and desire to learn quickly.
• Experience with Agile software development and test-driven development.
• Experience with developer tools like git, Maven/Gradle/SBT.
• A strong sense of ownership of the work you do and proven track record of solving problems creatively.
• A fanatical pursuit of quality with a strong appreciation for the connection between the software you build and the experience it delivers to customers.
• Intermediate/Advanced level of English.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

• Coding experience with backend services (Java or Scala).
• Development experience with web components.
• Desirable experience with containerization frameworks such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with AWS public cloud services.
