REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 6+ years experience of development and support of enterprise applications aligned to a business unit or platform, handling all aspects including, work management and platform maintenance
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other related technical field or relevant work experience
- Good Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile Software development
- Good knowledge of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model and concepts
- Experience with sandbox and production deployments
- Experience with database concepts and data modeling capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to handle overall business initiative or several components of a large, complex project with direct experience in Agile and Scrum;
- Good project management skills with ability to balance multiple projects/tasks across various user groups
- Must be a self-starter and Salesforce enthusiast who thrives with working in fast-paced environment
- Strong team player with service-oriented attitude and customer focus
- Familiarity with SOX protocols, Change Management and Release Management principles and processes
Responsibilities:
You will help to ensure every line of code we push to production is of the highest quality. This includes taking part in the design, planning, and enhancement of automation frameworks, utilities and tools. You should deliver solutions others can understand, support, maintain and expand, and provide other team members with direction on development projects. You are aware of trends and technical developments in the industry, and how those can be applied in your work; and have a point of view on the delivery approach for very complex or foundational features. You have the demonstrated ability to anticipate technology lifecycle issues, work with projects involving multiple systems, and influence the team to deliver durable, extensible solutions.
This role requires that you be a self-starter with the ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. You must possess good oral and written documentation skills and be able to interact with other team members to deliver fast and reliable code. You will also be asked to contribute ideas and provide feedback on many items within the team’s portfolio.
- Build applications on Salesforce platform with an emphasis on Service Cloud
- Integrate Salesforce with 3rd party applications
- Participate in product and feature design with product team, architects
- Focus on configuration and out of the box solutions first before resorting to custom coded solutions
- Design applications based on common design patterns and standard process algorithms
- Plan, design, and improve automation framework, utilities and tools
- Participate in and contribute to code reviews
- Ensure product quality meets customer expectations
