The engineer will work closely with the customer, industry partners and military operators to ensure the simulation environment can meet test objectives. This position requires knowledge of Distributive Interactive Simulation (DIS) standards. This engineer will work with a long-standing customer to meet all contracted software requirements.
This position requires a Software Lead to coordinate all software development activities, to include requirements gathering, analysis, planning and development of a technology roadmap as well as software architecture, development, and testing. This lead will be responsible for developing innovative approaches to meeting multiple customers’ needs and integrating industry partners’ simulations into the large-scale virtual test environment.
The selected candidate will build and maintain close relationships with multiple teams, customers, and industry partners in order to ensure timely completion of contractual commitments. The selected individual will mentor and coach early-career employees on software development, integration, testing and project leadership skills.
