As a Software Engineer I here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for developing and implementing software solutions for our aerospace customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test software applications that meet the needs of our clients. Your expertise in software engineering will be crucial in driving innovation and delivering high-quality solutions. You will report directly to our Software Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the development of cutting-edge software solutions that enhance the efficiency and safety of aerospace systems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design software solutions
- Develop and implement software applications using programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
- Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of software
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve software performance and maintainability
- Stay up-to-date with the latest software development trends and technologies
