Description:

Can you leverage your expertise and analytical skills for optimizing licenses cost and usage across multiple contracts? Do you have enthusiasm for professionalizing software license management to create value for the business? Are you a great communicator who can collaborate effectively with various stakeholders? If your answer is yes, you might be our new Software License Manager for cross-functional business applications in Demant Global IT.
In this role, you will be the main responsible for the license management of the most complex and wide-spanning business applications in Demant Global IT, such as MS Dynamics 365 FO, Salesforce, and Adobe.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

We expect that you have a solid background and experience in software license management. It is valuable, if you have worked with the business applications mentioned above. Working with Software Asset Management could also be part of the role if you possess knowledge and experience in this area.
You have a clear understanding of the license models, terms and conditions, and compliance requirements of different vendors and platforms. You have extensive analytical and problem-solving skills, and you can work with data and tools to monitor and report on the license performance and status.
You are a confident and effective communicator, who can present and explain complex information concisely. You can build and maintain positive relationships with various internal and external stakeholders and partners, and you can influence and negotiate to achieve win-win situations. You are committed, and you can oversee multiple tasks and initiatives.
You have a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree, probably within IT, business or finance. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities:

You will work closely with stakeholders across the business to effectively ensure the license lifecycle of the business applications - from discovery, management, optimization to monitoring and renewal. Close collaborations partners will be our IT Vendor & Contract Manager and IT Finance Manager together with multiple IT Application Managers across the organisation.
You will implement and maintain a new data-driven discovery platform with the purpose of creating transparency and overview and thus, significant savings on renewals.
You will set the standard for the best practices and policies for license management and communicate the new standards to all stakeholders effectively. Also, you will be the go-to person for all license related matters for the IT applications you cover.
You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with the license agreements and regulations, and for reporting and auditing the license usage and inventory.
Additionally, you will analyze the license consumption and demand and identify opportunities for savings and value creation. You will also keep yourself updated on the latest trends and developments in the license market and the business applications.

  • Being a single-point of contact for the major cross-functional business applications
  • Creating and maintaining an overview of the licenses – both in use and “in stock”
  • Monitoring the usage of the licenses
  • Identifying opportunities for cost avoidance or cost optimization
  • Reporting on license development and providing relevant data for decision-making
  • Ensure license compliancy as trusted advisor
  • Take part in negotiations when relevant and support license purchases
