Summary
We are looking for a “Software Manager for CERETRON SDF (f/m/d)” for the “Ground-Based Systems - iSTAR” department at the Oberkochen or Aalen site as soon as possible.
The “Ground Based Systems - iSTAR” department is responsible for handling national and international customer projects as well as internal development projects for sensor fusion software (SDF software) for military land vehicles. The focus is on the innovative software product CERETRON, which offers user-centered, intelligent assistance systems for sensor data evaluation and fusion. CERETRON complements the broad sensor product portfolio of the Ground Based Systems program area.
Your Tasks
- Technical management of the interdisciplinary project team
- Definition and parallelization of different product versions
- Setting up and developing a reliable delivery chain
- Ensuring that the program targets are achieved, particularly in terms of cost, time and performance/quality
- Establishing regular product-specific reporting up to management level
- Definition of technical and commercial frameworks
- Defining and helping to establish new skills and processes in the organization
- Strategic involvement in business development in this area
Willingness to travel internationally is required.
Your Profile
- Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, engineering, business administration or similar
- Many years of relevant professional experience in the management of complex software programs / major projects in all relevant business dimensions
- Very good knowledge of military products and in particular combat vehicles is advantageous
- Very good communication skills and strong diplomatic skills
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working, even under unclear conditions
- Strong ability to work in and with cross-functional and international teams
- Persuasiveness and assertiveness
- Business fluent German and English skills
