Description:

SUMMARY

The Software & PLC Equipment Engineer will be responsible for Software & PLC maintenance and management of Wafer equipment at the new QCELLS factory in Cartersville, GA. This includes software and PLC improvements for all machines. The Equipment Engineer will be a vital member of the Software & PLC team and will work closely with other departments to ensure smooth facility operations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to recognize and provide equipment PLC failure analysis
  • Experience in PLC control configuration and maintenance management
  • LC modification and interpretation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical and mechanical engineering, or related engineering fields
  • More than 3 years of experience in equipment PLC control development
  • Experience in carrying out equipment PLC improvement projects
  • Experience or qualifications in the semiconductor or photovoltaic industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Automation equipment improvement project management skills
  • Bilingual in Chinese or Korean preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for tasks related to equipment PLC maintenance
  • Manage Backup & Upgrade of new equipment PLC data
  • Handle the equipment PLC improvement project progress and management
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of equipment
  • Establish PLC Troubleshooting procedures and take measures with training
  • Prepare reports for scheduled meetings
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
